| This angel has a little story. I was preparing to carve on this 27" root piece. I told my wife, "I am going to carve an angel," as I showed her the wood. She said,"It is too big! Who would hang that big thing on their wall?" "Well'' I said, "I am going to carve this angel and it will be mine, so it will be fine." I carved, added wings and then painted the face and all in all, I was very satisfied. My wife took a look at my work and it hangs prominently on our living room wall and it appears it is remaining there. |
